Background of the Study
Political influencers have emerged as a significant force in shaping voter behavior in recent Nigerian elections. In Funtua Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina State, political influencers have garnered increasing attention for their ability to mobilize voters, spread political ideologies, and affect electoral outcomes. While much has been said about the traditional political structures such as parties and campaigns, the growing power of these influencers cannot be overlooked. This study seeks to fill this gap by analyzing how political influencers affect voter choices in this local government area.
